The turn of the year is a good opportunity for companies, agencies and the self-employed to check their inventory of business papers, envelopes and business cards. Is there enough in stock? Does the paper still fit, or would you rather try a different type? Römerturm, a specialist for fine and artist's papers, has the right paper in its range for every need and presents selected practical examples from business correspondence.
Business equipment, implemented with Conqueror CX 22.
The classics
Classic stationery, such as that used for offers, invoices, contracts, etc., is often white or cream-colored. Many Römerturm customers prefer a high grammage for their stationery, which exudes high quality and conveys special appreciation to the recipient. White or cream-colored papers are also popular for business cards. The format 85 x 55 mm and a grammage between 250 g/m2 and 400 g/m2 are usually used for business cards. The popular classic business papers from the Römerturm range include the varieties Colambo and Precioso, the all-round paper Functional as well as Zeta and Conqueror.
What about color?
Whenever you want to stand out, colored papers are a good choice. Advertising letters, for example, have a particularly strong effect through bright colors such as red, yellow, green or blue. Colored papers are also ideal for business cards to leave a lasting impression. Important: If you use color, you should make sure to use solid-colored paper and not just print a full color on white paper. The Colorplan range offers a large selection of colors: with 55 colors, 25 embossings and 8 grammages, there are over 10,000 possible combinations.
Sustainability in focus
Sometimes acting sustainably is not that difficult: there is now a large selection of ecological papers for business correspondence that are a real highlight both in terms of feel and appearance. As white papers, Römerturm recommends, for example, the Cologne Jung Jupp ech öko, which is made from 100 percent recycled paper, or Lönneberga grön, which is available in eight grammages from 80 to 350 g/m2.
Color is also not a problem with environmentally friendly papers. At Crush, for example, up to 15% of fresh fiber pulp is saved and replaced with plant residues. Crush is available in eleven varieties, including Cherry, Lavender, Kiwi, Olive, Almond or Cocoa.
Practical examples
boris pahlow Grafikdesign
Yellow became the new corporate color of Boris Pahlow's graphic design studio. When looking for a suitable yellow, he finally chose the bright Factory Yellow from Colorplan. It shouldn't be a warm yellow, but a technical yellow. In social media and in corporate design, the combination of logo and yellow is the order of the day.

Stationery deutz produktionsstudios
By qualifying deutz produktionsstudios GmbH as a “CSR company Münsterland”, the agency also pays great attention to the environmental aspect of its business documents. It was important that the paper was 100% recycled and produced with green electricity. Lönneberga grön meets these requirements perfectly and the agency is also “very enthusiastic about the feel and whiteness of the paper.”

Pandomo Clay by Ardex
Want more? How about a brochure? Although brochures are not business paper in the strict sense, they are just as relevant for external representation. A successful example is the brochure on the ready-to-use lime-clay plaster Pandomo Clay from Ardex. The Lönneberga grön paper perfectly reflects Ardex and Pandomo Clay's claim to quality and sustainability.
